Yes Phen is short for phentermine. They took fenfluramine the other half of the phen/fen combo off the market. All people have different reactions to the drug. I myself love it because it keeps me from bingeing. Some people don't like the side-effects others don't have any side-effects. It all just depends on how your body ajust.
