I were shorts alot, hey .. this is southern california. But anyone else experience this, all old shorts were fitting good. But since doing lots of biking for cardio and doing olympic style lifting(mostly back and legs [and shoulders, which are so sore today i can;t lift mt arms above parallel]), now my old shorts are starting to get uncomfortably tight in the quads, but good in the waist. But the swiftness of this switch has been dramatic. Intellecutally i know, that I am training both fast and slow twitch muscles, so i would expect to see dramatic increases in leg muscle size. And also that my genetics predispose me to sports involving leg strangth and endurance. But it is wierd. Any other guys experiencing this phenomenon? Kinda ****s, worried that when i lose the next 30 pounds i will not fit in off the shelf clothing just because of legs. [edit: vs. not fitting into clothes because i am overweight]

[edit: ran into the same problem 5-6 years ago when i was mountain biking(40-150 mi/week) and hiking(8-18 mi/weekend), but i was kinda a recluse back then so never wondered or asked if anyone else found the same thing ]

Mostly asking the guys here, becuase i think this question involves different frame sizes and proportions from women.
