Peanut butter & Jelly sandwiches are a weakness of mine and I did not give them up when I was trying to lose weight. Theres a secret to not makeing them be all that bad:
Make it on Wonder Light bread or another type of low fat bread. That way the calories is only 70-80 calories for 2 pieces.
Make it with the Smuckers Sugar Free Fat free jelly. They have it in blackberry and strawberry and they are really good. (I like grape but they don't make it in grape.) It is then only 20 calories for 2 tablespoons. I don't like alot of jelly and only use 1 tbsp
Measure the jelly (1 tbsp for each piece of bread) and measure the peanut butter- only 2 tbs. (190 clories)
This makes the whole sandwich only 270-280 calories. Have it with some fat free wow chips and you've had a yummy lunch for only 350 calories.
Remember that you don't have to do without. Just make it a healthier version.
