I don't know about the bars but I do know that ketosis can change from day to day. Also you can get a different reading based on the time of day. TOM (Time Of Month)can also interfere with ketosis. Some people never show ketones on the sticks and yet are in ketosis and lose weight fine. The only sure way to check for ketones is through a blood test. Urine sticks only will show excess ketones that have spilled into your urine. If you are using them, there won't be any excess. Another way to know if you are in ketosis is a sort of metallic or strange taste in your mouth that won't go away. A different smell to your urine (not to be gross) and some people have body odor. The sticks aren't everything so don't allow yourself to get

compulsive or obsessed
with them.
The bars should be eaten occasionally. You should be working on breaking the addiction to carbs/sugar and if you are giving yourself something that "tastes" sweet, you will never lose the cravings. Also many of the bars have more carbs than are listed. The bars may say 1, but they are deducting the sugar alcohols because they "say" they have little or no effect on blood sugar but for many people it does and their body does react to it. Beware of ANYTHING that says

"net carbs"
You didn't say how long you've been doing lowcarb. It's common after induction (Atkins) to not lose weight for a couple weeks while your body adjusts to the weight loss. Also a "true stall" is 4 weeks or more with no loss of
pounds or inches be sure to measure yourself, often when the scale doesn't move the tape measure does
Good luck, low carb does work!! I lost 70Lbs before my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia

and I started eating everything in sight
