I have heard of the South Beach Diet. It is similar to the Atkins in the beginning as you start off with two weeks with little or no carbs (can't remember). After that time, you slowly start introducing carbs back into your diet. You can go to ivillage.com and check out the details of the diet. Prevention also had an article on it about two issues ago so they may have it on their website as well.
