I was an Atkins dieter for many years, and some of the trick that they gave me was to cut out the processed meats ie the bacon and deli meats, cut way back on your cheeses because these do contain carbs that can keep your strips from turning as well. If you dont have the book get it , if you have it read it! And read it again, I always found it helpful to read it over and over for support, somtimes I would call the Atkins center and get help to my questions as well!
