Can you afford a session or 2 or 3 with a counsellor? I'm posting my report about the new Consumer Report's article on diet and weight loss. A substantial % of those who were successful at weight loss, especially those who had failed in the past, had benefitted from the services of a counsellor. A group (like Weight Watchers) probably works as well, and is less $.

The 'decision point' -- where we are go/no go at eating inappropriately -- is mental, not physical. I think that people can be trained to think differently and to 'catch themselves' at that point. This is behaviour modification, and thinking modification. I think that something like this would help you
