I think the first thing to figure out is
where. It's hard to commit to a trip like this until one knows where it's going to be. For instance, Myrtle is too far south for me to reasonably drive.
Planning two separate destinations in two differing timeframes will allow more people to participate. If one destination is more to the North (DC, Philly, and Atlantic City have been suggested), more people may be able to attend. Some lucky ducks might get to go to both, who knows?
I'm going to start a poll in another thread just so we can easily quantify who wants to do what. That will make it so much easier to plan.
BebeMom and Hotmama, you two are doing a wonderful job on this, and it sounds like a blast. I hope you won't think I'm stealing your thunder by starting a poll
but I really think it will increase the turnout and make the planning much easier.
