Hi,
I am really feeling the need to write this post. Not that I am annoyed or anything. I just feel so bad for the people who think they will never lose anymore weight once they hit a plateau. I have always had a weight problem, all my life and I have been on every diet from cambridge to starvation! I know that for me, the low-cal/lowfat combo works for me. Another thing I know is this, the first time you take a appetite suppresant you will not have the urge to eat, so much so it will feel weird. After your body adjust to the appetite suppressant your urge to eat and well overeat may come back. But what I find works for me is mind over matter. If you are taking Phentermine or Phendimetrazine you will continue to lose the weight if you consume less calories based on your body weight. So many people lose 10 to 15 pounds and think that the losing weight is over, it is only over if you decide it is. Losing weight as we all know is HARD WORK, it did not take us 2 days to put on the extra pounds and it surely won't take us 2 days to take it off. I have only been on Phen-D for a little over a month and at times I feel hungrier than others, but what I do is find something for me to do or drink water. A lot of times we need water and we think we are hungry! I am not a counseler and no I don't think I know everything but I do know this, I have lost lots of pounds in my years of dieting. Now I don't diet, I am changing my lifestyle. I get a little help from my Phen-D, but soon I will be weened from this little wonder pills and have to do this totally on my own. I read on someone's post and I totally agree with this....The reason we are overweight is not because we ate cake or pie some time but because the choices we have made for an extended period of time has caused us to put on extra pounds. We now have to train our bodies to make healthier choices so when we are off the Phen-D we can make it and not go gaining the weight back! I guess my reason for posting this little bit is to just let everyone know we all are a WORK IN PROGRESS, we have to constantly work on our healthly eating habits and realize that nothing in life comes easy. I look at my pills as my temporary helpers, yes I get discourage at times. But I know before long the weight will be gone and it is my every intention to keep it off this time. I wish everyone continued success on your weight loss journey. BUT....we have to stop beating ourselves up when we don't lose for a couple of days or even a week. Eventually, our bodies will drop the pounds. Everyone just keep doing what you are doing (eating healthy and making better choices and lets not forget the exercising!) and the weight will come off! I believe in EVERYONE, do you believe in YOU? Lets keep our heads up and continue LOSING, because after all....Aren't we all WINNERS! I wish you well!

We are all on a journey, we are all trying to either get to our goal weight or maintain it. Lets encourage, uplift and support one another with kindness and wisdom.
