Hello my fellow weight loss comrades!
There are a lot of postings about Phentermines and that is great. There are so many people who have lost weight very quickly and in masses. However, there are those of us that have a different side effect or did not lose weight on Phen and had to change. I think it is important for us to share successes also.

I had taken Phen for 4 weeks and it was the longest 4 weeks of my life. My doctor told me that the first few days I was going to feel hyper, gittery, heart palpatations and so forth. But I didn't have those side effects as a matter of fact the first week I wanted to shoot myself and preferred to have the weight. I took the pill at 7am and by 12 I wanted to just pull out a pillow and sleep for about a week. I didn't have energy to exercise and I was thirsty all the time. So I increased the dosage to two 15mg a day and the first couple of days I had increased energy but that quickly faded. I was back to the same position. Oh and let me not forget I am hunger almost every 2-3 hours; even though I didn't eat as much I was still hungry all the time. Mind you a friend of mine started before me and in one month and lost 20 pounds .

Well I went to the doctor last week and explained all of this to my doctor and he told me sometimes Phen just doesn't work for everyone. I did lose 7lbs (I just think this was water and a simple water pill would have done the same thing) . He has put me on Bontril and I took my first pill on friday (yesterday) and the side effects I was looking for in Phen I actually got in Bontril. I am energetic (cant stop doing that bouncing knee thing) and I'm awake! Since my pharmacy ran out of the pills and only had 5 to give me I am going to skip this weekend and start on monday.

So for all of us Bontril users lets get together and share successes. It's important that we support each other no matter what!

Good Luck!
