Today is the day. My oldest son, Brad, is leaving. I am meeting him this evening for dinner and then they are scheduled to leave at 8 p.m.
I didn't know until this a.m. that his 7 yr. old son thought we were all joking about him actually leaving. (Brad has only been home for 5 mos. from Afghanistan.) Poor little guy.
But he has a mom that is the best! NOBODY has a daughter-in-law better than me!
Please say a prayer for Brad and his family. And you better throw one in for me that I can hold it together at least until he is out of sight!
