I understand the feelings and the tendency to overreact. Please do not get caught up. Do not immediately assume that your neighbor, who is from the middle east, is part of this terror, do not judge someone because of their heritage. Do not harbor hate and bitterness. Do not let them put fear in your heart. It is not a doubt we are going to war. I agree it is needed. We cannot tolerate such terrorism. Just keep in mind if we do not pull together we are pulling apart. My heart aches over the whole thing. Keep everyone involved in your prayers. Everyone from the families that lost someone, rescue workers, airline personel, travel agents, corporations that have lost employees, the news media that is covering this so we are kept up to date, our government, the dogs that are helping locate not only those that perished but those trapped and alive, medical personel, and many others. This type of thing affects many levels that not all realize. Please put your emotions into support and concern for those involved in the aftermath and not into those that caused this disaster. It appears their aim was to harm the US and cause chaos, let them see it make us stronger and pull together and not divide us. Let them see the love the US harbors for our fellow man. Let them see America stand proud, hold our heads up high and show them we are the greatest country in the world, even when faced with such sadness.
