I am so sorry to hear that you have to deal with all that crap!
Personally, I would be looking for somewhere else to live, you have enough to deal with.
I find $700 outrageous for a 2 bdrm apt. I live in Ohio and when I was a single mom I had a 3 bdrm HOUSE for $650. It wasn't the best part of town but it was kinda in the middle (lower middle class I guess you'd call it).
su-k it up right now but start searching.
As far as the kid sleeping at work.

Who in the heck is sick enough to leave condoms in your office. Is it somebody that you know. Need somemore info here.
I don't mean to preach to the preacher, but....being a single mom is hard enough without dealing with an ***** of a landlord and crappy working conditions.
If you don't like the situations that you are in start looking to change them. Not easy, I know, but definitely possible. You and your child deserve to live in peace.
