Answer

The Fastin diet pill was originally a brand of phentermine, but the Fastin you can buy today is not made using phentermine.

Fastin was originally a brand name version of phentermine. It was manufactured by King Pharmaceuticals for SmithKline Beecham but in 1998 the Fastin diet pills that contained phentermine were removed from the market.

King Pharmaceuticals recognized that the brand name Fastin was a valuable asset and they sold on the name to Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals.  Once Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals had legal ownership of the Fastin brand name they began to produce tablets that were manufactured from different ingredients, which did not include phentermine, but were also called Fastin.

  • Fastin as made by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals contains the following ingredients:
  • Phenylethylamine HCL
  • R-Beta-Methylphenylethylamine
  • methylphenylethylamine tartrate
  • methylsynephrine HCL
  • N-Methyl-phenylethylamine HCL
  • Synephrine HCL
  • Theobromine Anhydrous
  • Yohimbine HCL

Fastin does not contain phentermine.

Fastin is not a prescription drug, in contrast you can only legally buy phentermine if you have a valid prescription from your doctor.

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals claim that the Fastin they make is an appetite suppressant designed for resounding energy and fat loss.
